Envision
Envision is a journal published twice yearly by New City Community Press in Partnership with Syracuse University Press.
Envision strives to bring activist and artistic innovations into interdisciplinary dialogue with academic concerns, and vice versa. It grounds itself in a current need for scholarship and art that interrogate representational practices. Collaborative by design, Envision finds its genealogy in diverse espressions of visually and politically engaged scholarship. Envision seeks to present work that demonstrates a wide range of applications for social justice and social theory, and to invigorate current practices of applied and activist social science methodologies.
